About Us

What is Home Team Box?

Home Team Box is a subscription company that makes baseball card subscription boxes exclusively. We’re the official home of:

  • The Home Team Box – Our flagship product: A monthly box featuring cards from your favorite team. No commons or junk – just inserts, parallels, relics, autographs, and numbered cards.
  • Complete Fan Box – Variety box featuring 50+ cards each month, including stars, prospects, Hall of Famers, plus a guaranteed relic or autograph and two fresh packs.
  • Advent Calendar – A seasonal favorite with 110+ cards, at least 3 relics/autographs, and a big hit on Christmas Eve.

All of our boxes come in gift-ready packaging and are shipped free to your door.

What makes this subscription box better than others?

Our goal is to make the arrival of your subscription box an exciting monthly experience.

We’re first and foremost baseball fans. We follow baseball closely so we know how to source great cards for you.

We won’t send you cheap junk cards from players you’ve never heard of. Our selection is hand-curated by our baseball loving staff, and then randomized into your box.

On average, our boxes have more game-used and autographed cards than competitors.

We believe that autographs and game-used cards are a gateway to baseball history. That’s why our boxes have more game-used and autographed cards, on average, than competitors.

When does the advent calendar go on sale?

Our famous advent calendar is on sale now, and ships in mid-November. Grab yours now – we sold out last year!

Do you sell other sports card subscription boxes?

No. Our boxes are 100% baseball, because that’s the sport we know and love.

Orders

How do I place an order?

Click “Shop” from the top menu and choose your box, duration and team (for the Home Team subscription). Click the Cart button when you’re ready, provide your billing information, and your cards will be in your mailbox ASAP.

Will my subscription auto-renew?

Home Team Box subscriptions renew automatically for the plan length you choose. You can cancel anytime by logging into your account, clicking the Account icon on our website, and selecting Cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

If you just need a break, you can also choose to Pause your subscription and resume whenever you’re ready.

I ordered the Home Team Box. Can I change the team I receive?

Yes, you can change your team by emailing us.

We also offer the option to receive cards from all teams – simply choose “Mixed – All 30 Teams” from the dropdown menu when you’re prompted to select your team.

Can I cancel my subscription early?

Subscriptions can’t be canceled mid-cycle, but you can turn off auto-renew at any time. Your subscription will stay active until the end of the current billing period.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Every card in our inventory is hand-selected, then carefully sorted and randomized into the box you receive. Because of this process, we can’t guarantee specific cards, players, or selections beyond our Box Promises (see above).

We don’t offer refunds or exchanges, but we’ll always work with you if there’s an issue with your box.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Shipping is FREE for all boxes.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to the United States, including APO/FPO boxes. We don’t ship internationally.

Where is my package / how do I track my order?

We’ll email you once your box ships, or you can click the “Account” logo at the top of the page and log into your account any time to check the status.

How is this packaged? Will it have the contents listed?

Home Team Box subscriptions make great gifts, so we ship everything in a plain white box, with paper padding inside.

What if my package is lost?

It’s very uncommon for a package to be lost. Most boxes arrive within 2-5 business days, though holidays, weather, or USPS delays can sometimes extend delivery times. Packages also aren’t always scanned at every step, which may cause tracking to appear stalled. While these factors are outside our control, we’re here to assist. If your package hasn’t arrived, we can file a claim with USPS beginning 15 days after the mailing date, and we will replace lost orders.

What if my package is damaged?

We pack our boxes securely, and damage is uncommon. If your box arrives damaged, please email us with:

  • A photo of the exterior packaging
  • Photo(s) of the damaged items

USPS requires this information in order to process an insurance claim. Once we have it, we’ll file the claim on your behalf and send you a replacement box.
